Things you should know prior to your arrival

Your rooms will be ready from approximately 3 pm. You are most welcome to try out our wellness offers on the day of your arrival already.

Up to 10 pm, there is always some staff around. If you plan to arrive later, please let us know beforehand.

On the day of your departure, please leave your room by 11 am. You may still use our wellness offers on this day.

Please let us know about your allergies and intolerances. Likewise, please ask for bed linen suitable for allergy sufferers if required.

You may pay your bill in cash or with your credit card.

You may use our wellness area “EifelSpa” every day from 4 pm to 9 pm in summer (may-september) and from 3 pm to 9 pm in winter (october-april). Admission to the wellness area is independent from booking rooms. You receive a day pass for € 15 and a wellness bag for another € 7 (2 sauna towels, 1 bathrobe). Lockers are available.

Most of our rooms are double rooms. If you book one of our rooms for one person only, a surcharge needs to be added.

You can also purchase vouchers (restaurant, breakfast, accomodation, cooking course, EifelSpa, treatments). In case you cannot pick your voucher up, we are happy to send it to you by mail.

Our vouchers can be redeemed without a time limit. Vouchers cannot be replaced in case of loss. It is not possible to exchange your voucher for cash.

Dogs are allowed in our house, except for the rooms in the category “Eifel-Panorama”, “Eifel-Zeit plus”, the breakfast room and the “EifelSpa” area. The daily price per dog amounts to € 10 (without feed). Please note that we may charge a potential final cleaning.

We are always happy to welcome children as our guests! Cots, highchairs, and changing tables are available.

The access to our “EifelSpa” area is restricted to people over the age of 16.

Guests can use the car park and the carport for free.

Please consult the laws of the “Straßenverkehrsordnung” (traffic regulations) when it comes to liability.

All the rooms are non-smoking rooms. Smoking is forbidden in the whole hotel area as well. You may smoke on the balcony / the terrace of your room or in the outdoor area. In case we cannot continue renting the room due to unpermitted smoking, we have to charge downtime costs. We reserve the right to adjust these regulations, e. g. due to changes in the respective laws.

We kindly ask for your understanding concerning potential renovation processes as we constantly seek to maintain our house in the best possible way.

Cancelling a booking is unpleasant for both parties: Please note that reservations are binding when they have been confirmed via phone or email.

If the reservation is cancelled or changed 20 days prior to arrival, we have to charge 80 % of the price for accommodation in case we cannot rent the room otherwise. Please note that we only accept written cancellations. No-shows are charged the full price.

Furthermore, please note that cancellation fees also apply to Covid-related cancelling.

Similarly, 80 % of the price is charged if appointments for treatments in our “EifelSpa” are missed or cancelled at short notice. No fees apply to cancellations made up to 24 hours prior to the appointment.
